About this course

This Level 3 diploma is designed for learners working in adult social care settings who have supervisory responsibility or are preparing for roles with greater responsibility. It recognises the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to work effectively in a lead adult care worker type role supporting individuals with complex needs, guiding other care staff, and promoting high standards of care and support. Learners will develop competencies in communication, person-centred practice, safeguarding, health & wellbeing, equality & inclusion, and professional development within the adult care sector.

Is this course fully online?
Yes — all learning is delivered online via our portal, with optional blended in-person assessments depending on employer arrangement.

Is there an exam?
No formal written exam. Assessment is through portfolio evidence, observations, professional discussions and reflective assignments.

Is this the same as the old NVQ Level 3?
Yes — the RQF Diploma replaced the QCF and NVQ frameworks. It is recognised by all UK employers as the direct equivalent.
